Reference Guide for Vietnam Journal of Public Health’s written.
List references by each language sections if the written uses both Vietnamese references and other foreign languages (Ex: Vietnamese, English, French, Germany, Russian, Chinese, Japanese...)List the Vietnamese references in alphabetical order by the author’s last-name. And the foreign references are arranged by alphabetical of the author’s family-name.
1. Journal article
1.1. Vietnamese Journal article:
ü List the full-name of all authors in the reference list unless there are more than six, in which case the names of the first three are used, followed by "và cs" (either for authors or editors).
ü Journal Name needs to be written exactly, included year of production and volume number.
ü Write page range of article.
ü How to use the comma (,), the dot (.), the semicolon (;), and the colon (:)?
· Use the comma (,) between authors’ names.
· Use the dot (.) after the last author and at the end of article name.
Formula:
Author(s) (publication year). “Article Title”. Journal Name (italic), volume number: page range.
Note: All documents are similar in using the dot (.). However, the comma, the semicolon and the colon are used flexibly by some examples below:

1.2. Foreign Journal article:
ü List the family-name and the first letter of last-name of all authors in the reference list unless there are more than six, in which case the names of the first three are used, followed by "et al." (either for authors or editors).
ü Journal names should be abbreviated as they appear in Index Medicus. Journals not currently indexed there should not be abbreviated.
ü Journal Name needs to be written exactly, included year of production and volume number.
ü Write page range of article.

ü The title should be written clearly, included place of issue, publisher, publication year, page range.
Formula: Author(s) (Publication year). Article Name (italic).Edition number. Book Name, Editor Name. Publisher, place of issue: page range.
