Mekong Eye Doctors (MED) is a Dutch based international non governmental organization working in the field of eye care. For her new office in
Ho Chi Minh city she is seeking a qualified Vietnamese national for the position of program manager.

Responsibilities

The program manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the MED eye care program including coordination with the key stakeholders, NGOs, Provincial Health Departments and Ministry of Health.  He/she will supervise the implementation of the projects and will monitor the progress of the project activities by narrative and financial reporting.

Requirements and Qualifications:
·            University degree in public health, business administration or equivalent (Advanced degree is preferred) ·            At least 5 years relevant project management experience
·            Experience in public health is preferred and willingness to learn skills is required
·            Experience in working with government counterparts and donors
·            Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
·            Analytical and results-oriented with strong organizational skills
·            Accurate, strong interpersonal skills and financial skills
·            Ability to work independently and solve problems
·            Prepared to travel up to 25% of the time
·            Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
