INFRASTRUCTURE
The total area of the school is 15,600 square meters, of which 11, 000 m2 are occupied by the campus and administrative areas, and 4,600 m2 are used for living quarters.
The campus consists of a 2, 000 m2, five-story building with lecture halls and class rooms fully equipped with modern audio-visual facilities for interactive teaching and learning activities. To aid in teaching, learning and science research activities, a computer room containing 30 work stations is available for students and teachers. Also available for use is a well-equipped language lab with 30 individual private learning stations. To suit the needs of more independent students, a self-access center with Internet Is open to students.
The administration area includes the faculty and department offices that are located in two three-story buildings of about 2, 000 m2. All the offices are equipped with computers and communication facilities. The school also has a wireless internet network which can be used for teaching and learning activities.
The school also has a library on campus containing a large number of Public Health reference books, CD-ROMs with Medline and Popline databases that are updated quarterly, and E-documents that are always handy for quick reference. The school library contains the highest quality public health textbooks available in the country.
Trips to the field are regularly encouraged and transportation is provided to the field sites for students to facilitate these trips.
