Department of Health Policy is under the Faculty of Community Health. The department offers health policy training for undergraduate, graduate and other short term programs (national and international). The department is also involved in many health policy researches in Vietnam and overseas.  Health policy training and research are developed based on the required fundamental knowledge of Epidemiology, Statistic, Health Economic, Health Sociology, Medical Anthropology, etc.  Basic skills in formulating, implementing and evaluating health policies are trained along with necessary communication skills so that learners could participate effectively in the process of health policy making. The department has been benefited from the inputs of many national and international experts in this field
