Dept. of Demography is a component of Faculty of Community Health - HSPH. The major responsibility is to provide training courses in demography and population issues to BPH and MPH students, to do research in the areas of demography and other related fields in public health. The department also provides consultancy services and support to develop the curriculum for Public Health training and research on population and development, demographic methods, population information and data analysis. Faculty members of the department have actively involved in the development of training curricula in other departments as well as main projects for capacity building of the school.
