Faculty of Social Sciences, Behaviour and Health Education
Faculty of Social Sciences, Behaviour and Health Education is one of six Faculties of Hanoi School of Public Health. It has three departments which are Health Education Department, Society, Culture and Health Department and Marxist -Leninist Philosophy Department. The major responsibility is to teach some specialized subjects such as Health Sociology, Health Psychology, Ethics in Public Health Practice, Health Promotion, Social Marketing, Anthropology, and Teaching Methodology for First Degree of Specialization in Public Health (CK1), Bachelor of Public Health and Master of Public Health. In addition, the faculty takes responsibilities for teaching management of other subjects such as Philosophy, Political Economic, History of Communist Party, Scientific Socialism, Ho Chi Minh Ideology. The faculty is not only taking the responsibilities of training but also doing scientific research and implementing some projects in the field of health social sciences
There are eight staff members and Head of Department is Nguyen Thanh Huong, PhD, and Truong Quang Tien, MPH is Deputy Head of the Department.
