Faculty of Environmental Health is one of six faculties of Hanoi School of Public Health. It has two departments
which are Department of Environmental Health and Department of Occupational Health. The major responsibility is to teach in
Environmental and Occupational Health area for Master of Public Health; First Degree of Specialization in Public Health (CK1)
and Bachelor of Public Health. In addition, the faculty also takes some specialized short training courses such as
Occupational Health and Safety management in health sector; Occupational Safety and Hygiene and
Communicable Diseases Prevention for Health worker, Menagement of Medical Waste. The faculty is not only taking responsibilities
for training but also doing scientific research and consulting in the field of Occupational and Environmental Health.
The faculty has eight offical staff members and 10 Guest Lecturers. All of them are well trained and experienced in the field of
Environmental and Occupational health.
Head of the Faculty is Dr.Nguyen Huy Nga, MD, PhD. Ms.Le Thanh Huong, MSc and Ms.Nguyen Thuy Quynh, MPH are vice heads of
Department of Environmental Health and Department of Occupational Health.
