During April 21 – 22, 2008, Hanoi School of Public Health representatives – Mr. Phan Van Tien, MD, MSc, Vice Dean and Mr. Nguyen Huy Quang, MA, PhD attended the first Global Health Symposium organized by the College of Public Health, the University of Georgia, USA.
Though Hanoi school of Public Health is a quite young university, which was established in 2001, it has been providing with variety of training programs from BPH, MPH to PhD and specialization levels.
Apart from doing research, The Center for Injury Policy and Prevention Research – Hanoi School of Public Health usually organizes training courses on injury prevention for many provincial public health associations nationwide.
Public Health (PH) – a quite new profession in Vietnam, currently the number of the graduates of this major hasn’t met the need for filling in the vacancies of governmental agencies and non-governmental agencies and organizations.
