In 2 days from 18^th and 19^th October 2012, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange (VAVA) in collaboration with the Hanoi School of Public Health (HSPH) organized the Forum on rehabilitation for victims of Agent Orange used by American in Vietnam War to evaluate the result of the project in the period of 2008-2011 and orientation for upcoming period.

On the morning of 19^th October 2012, the Hanoi School of Public Health organized the meeting with students of public health K16 and those of master course in hospital management K4 and students of specialty I K32 at the beginning of the course

In 4 days from 16^th to 19^th October 2012, the Hanoi School of Public Health in collaboration with the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention (Ministry of Health), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (US CDC) organized the training course on enhancing leadership and management capacity for HIV/AIDS prevention officials from divisions, institutes, centers for HIV/AIDS prevention in the whole country.

In October 2012, in Thai Binh province, the project “Community-based functional rehabilitation for victims of toxic chemical used by the U.S Army in Vietnam War” by the Hanoi School of Public Health organized 2 in-depth training classes for provincial-level rehabilitation officers in northern region

On the morning of 16^th October 2012, the Division of Social Work and Student Management in collaboration with the Division of Graduate Education organized the seminar on employment information for K11 new students.

On the morning of October 15^th 2012, at the Medical College of Dong Thap, the Hanoi School of Public Health in collaboration with the Medical College of Dong Thap organized the opening ceremony of academic year 2012 -2013 for the master course on hospital management.

Data analysis is a very essential skill for officials working in public health, particularly researchers. It is also closely related with epidemiology and research methodology. Realizing the importance of data analysis, in 3 days from 16^th to 18^th October 2012, the Hanoi School of Public Health held the short course on basic data analysis.

From 9th to 11th October 2012, the Hanoi School of Public Health organized the course on the management of hospital finance for learners who are leaders working in hospitals at central, provincial and district levels.

On October 9th 2012, the Hanoi School of Public Health (HSPH) honourably received the United Nations University of Malaysia (International Institute for Global Health) led by Dr. Mohamed Salleh Mohamed Yasin – Director of the United Nations University of Malaysia to hava a working visit at the school

Organized the week of citizen’s awareness raising for full-time students K11. From 24th to 28th September 2012, the Department of Political Works and Student Management organized sessions to disseminate the information for new students K11 to raise the student’s awareness of lines and policy and guideline of the Party and law of the State, helping them to have information about domestic and international economic, political and social affairs
